Thanks to Marco Stufano who was able to harvest some of his seed and pass a few on to us a couple of years ago we have now built up a good supply. This ornamental cotton grows to a height of 24 - 30 inches. It has the blackest foliage and stems of any plant we have ever seen, by mid summer hibiscus-like deep burgandy flowers appear followed by walnut size seedpods. At summers end when the seedpods are ripe they split open exposing white fluffy balls of иии cotton. Way cool. Grow in full sun.
