Growing to a height of 4 to 6' in their first season, Brugmansias (or "Angel's trumpet") are heavily adorned with large, exceptionally fragrant, downward hanging, trumpet shaped flowers. They look stunning in large containers, or planted in garden beds. They require a sunny location and ample watering and fertilizing throughout their growing season to perform well and continue blooming. Their bloom cycle is usually on a 4-6 week schedule. They can easily be over-wintered by cutting them back and storing them, pot and all in a cool dark place, watering them only occasionally. In early spring, return them to warmth and light and growth will ensue.
