PASSIFLORA foetida Popping Jay
PASSIFLORA foetida
Popping Jay
Size:
2 gal. tripod
Sold:
Individually
Code: PASS-FOET
We found this Passiflora growing along a ditch on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. Naturalized throughout the Caribbean, Central America and northern South America the "Popping Jay" has smallish white to pale pink blooms along wiry stems. The most extraordinary part of the plant is the large decorative feathery bracts which surround the flowers and fruits. Interesting!
