"Polynesian Shooting Star"
Polynesian Shooting Stars are tropical shrub attaining a height of 18 inches to 3 feet in one season depending on the variety. Grown mostly for their flamboyant foliage but also for their showy star shaped flowers. The leaves have a waxy surface adding a soft sheen to their appearance. Pseuderanthemum work well in containers as foliage accent plants, the many different leaf shapes and colors can be used very effectively. Plant in full sun to partial shade for best leaf color and in rich well-draining soil for best growth. They also make good houseplants.
