We originally received some seed of this Ricinus from Jenks Farmer down in SC, I think it may have hybridized with someone else because it was originally named 'Dwarf Red Spires' and only grew to 4 feet. Ours however easily reaches up to 6 - 8 feet. The large typical Ricinus leaves are an incredible deep burgundy red, much darker then Carmencita.
