SALVIA argentea
Silver Sage

One of those plants people have to touch. Silver Sage forms a dramatic rosette of large, woolly, almost white leaves that look as though they have been cut from felt. Native to the Mediterranean region, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil and is especially effective as a bold foliage component in containers. Pair it with deep burgundy, purple or fine-textured grasses. Biennial or short-lived perennial; hardy to approximately Zone 5–6.
