TAGETES tenuifolia
'Lemon Gem' Lemon Signet Marigold

A favorite little marigold forming a neat mound of finely divided, citrus-scented foliage covered with bright lemon-yellow flowers. Growing about 10–12" tall, ‘Lemon Gem’ is perfect for the front of a sunny combination planter, where its fine texture mixes easily without overpowering its neighbors. Both the flowers and foliage are aromatic, and the edible flowers have a pleasantly citrusy character. Try it with blue salvia, purple verbena or dark-leaved coleus. Sunshine in a 4½" pot.
