TRADESCANTIA
'Jose Puig' AKA Gibasis geniculata Jose Puig

T. Jose Puig is a striking trailing plant grown for its unusual near-black to deep purple foliage, dramatically edged in bright green. Small, delicate white flowers appear above the foliage during the growing season, but the leaves are really the show. Its spreading, cascading habit makes it an excellent trailer for combination planters, especially with chartreuse, silver or bright green companions. Grow in bright filtered light to part sun in a well-drained mix with regular moisture. A little dark and mysterious—and very good company in a container. Tender perennial.
